Props for companies trying to create a realistic robots of the future but dear Lord, they are still failing miserably. You can see how far are we from having Data or basically any movie android with this latest ChihiraAico robot from Toshiba, shown at CES 2015. Apart from looking like a creepy doll we have to say that her movements aren’t even that smooth. Is this the best we can do in 2015? Anyway, hopefully we will see a breakthrough in the coming years. We would really like to have our personal realistic looking Data to annoy us with useless statistical information every time we ask him a question.
