Imagine placing a finger on the text and having it spoken back to you. It is possible and it is called FingerReader. It is great for all the people who prefer audiobooks or people who have impaired vision. No need to read braille books, you can put this ring on your finger, place it on the text (book, Kindle, magazines etc) and while your move the finger this device will transform it from text to voice and speak it back to you. It needs to be hooked to computer and we are not yet sure when it will be commercially available but it is a great prototype to see how will the tech help you in near future.
