1500 Live Ladybugs

Internet is such a weird place, you can really buy anything, including live animals. Imagine sitting at home in your comfy chair and ordering approximately 1500 live ladybugs. But why? Glad you asked – it’s not to put them in your salad. It’s because they are incredibly beneficial in getting rid if aphids, mealy bugs, scale, leaf hoppers, various plant eating worms and other destructive soft bodied pests. Ladybugs are a favorite “good bug” and alternative to chemicals. Simply release them at sundown (because they don’t fly at night) and they will get rid of all above mentioned pest. Ladybugs will keep eating bad guys, lay their own eggs in the process and when the new pests arrive, fresh ladybugs will be waiting.
